This sauce is hot…but not “blow your head off and cry” hot!!! It’s a nice, long lasting heat that goes very well with Chicken wings. This is an original Cunninghams Pub recipe from when we opened 17 years ago. There have been a few variations in the first couple months, but this has basically not changed for the last 17 years. A blend of Cayenne peppers, chilli’s, vinegar, garlic and a slight hint of honey at the end to lengthen that lingering burn.
This sauce can be used with grilled chicken or pork on the BBQ. The honey and sugars will give a great caramelization to the meat. Its also perfect to add to a stir fry to just bring it up a notch in flavour and spice!
